WMBD//WYZZ-TV - JOLIET, Ill. -- Caterpillar unveiled the car it will race in next year's top NASCAR circuit Thursday at the Chicagoland Speedway.

Jeff Burton will drive the 31 car, sponsored by Cat, for Richard Childress Racing in 2009.

"It’s hopefully the beginning of a great relationship. We’re really excited about ’09<" said Burton. "We have a lot of unfinished business in ’08 that we have to focus on, but this gives us a tremendous amount that we can focus on going into the next year.”

Dave Blaney is currently driving the Cat 22 car for owner Bill Davis.
