Three East Peorians, formally charged last month after a drug bust by the Multi County Narcotics Enforcement Group pleaded not guilty Thursday in Tazewell County Circuit Court. 59 year old David Horton and 57 year old Cheryl Horton are charged with manufacturing or delivery of marijuana. A third person, 61 year old Ronald Horton was charged with production of marijuana more than 50 plants. Undercover agents, assisted by the Postal Service, say they seized 50 pounds of marijuana, 95 plants and some weapons. Agents say the street value of the drugs is approximately 70 thousand dollars. David Horton is back in court July 14th while the other defendants are back in court August first.
