Sunday, Jun 29, 2008 @10:51pm CDT The Peoria Chiefs continue their winning ways, with a 4-3 win over Kane County Sunday afternoon at O'Brien Field.
The Chiefs scored three in the 1st inning and then added another in the 4th to break a 3-3 tie. Elvis Lara's third hit on the day proved to the be the game-winner which scored Jonathon Wyatt from second. Peoria now owns a six-game winning streak heading into tomorrow night's game with Kane County. The Chiefs will begin a 13-game road trip after Monday's game with Kane County, which will begin at 6:30. |
