Junior Achievement (JA) is the world's largest organization dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs. Junior Achievement of Central Illinois is a member of  JA USA and part of a global organization that operates in 123 countries and reaches over 10 million students annually.

Locally, JA of Central Illinois has grown 286% in the classroom in recent years, making it one of the fastest-growing Junior Achievement offices in America, resulting in several local and national awards. Nearly 15,000 students in 664 classrooms experienced JA in central Illinois in during the 2010-11 school year.
